Table Tennis: Hall 6 vs. Hall 2 (3 – 2)

In the first match, Male Singles, Zhengyan took down the hall 2 player 3-0 and got the first point for Hall 6. The match seemed to be easy because of our player's excellent technique.

The second match, Female Singles, Mavis also won the match easily with the same score of 3-0. Both of the two games only last less than 30 minutes.

The third one, Male Doubles, was more competitive as the opposing Hall seemed determined to take back the points that they have lost earlier. However our players, Swee Lee and Melvin, showed some nice team work and skills, taking down their opponents 3-1 to secure the winning point for Hall 6.

So far, Hall 6 has already won the game. In the subsequent matches, we lost Mixed Doubles 0-3 and gave up the Female Doubles.

Well done Hall 6 players!

Hall 6 vs. Hall 16 (3 – 2)

The first point went to Hall 16 as the opponent took down our player in the Female Singles.

Subsequently, the following 3 matches that includes 2 Male Singles and a Female Singles saw the dominant power of Hall 6 as our players, Ding Yong, Kasster and Ying Han, with amazing display of skill, took down their opponents easily, each scoring 2 – 0 against their opponents.

However, Hall 16 scored another point when their player won in the last match. Despite this, Hall 6 had won 3 out of 5 games to secure the win.

This is really a tough game against hall 11(3:0)

First round 22:20

At the beginning of the match, our opponents scored continuously and we were 4 points behind them. However, our players’ team work and willingness to win lightened up their spirit and they caught up and lead by 5 points, but Hall 11 retaliated and was able to score some more points. In the second half, we were still lagging behind, until the time-out called by our captain. After some communication and strategy sharing, our players finally caught up with a tie of 19:19 and 20:20. At last, our players reigned supreme and won the first game 22:20.

Second round 21:18

Second game became much tougher as hall 11 tried their best to win. Although we scored first, Hall 11 was able to catch up and lead 6 points ahead of us, but we eventually caught up with a tie of 10:10. Then we got another point and when changing sides, we were ahead by one point. In the second half, Hall 11 was able to score first and made a tie of 14:14. Then we took turns to score and made another tie of 16:16. At this critical moment, our captain Juffri stood out and lift our team with 3 points ahead (21:17). Finally, we made it to win the second game with 21:18.

Third round 23:21

Having won the previous 2 rounds, the third game somehow became a chance for our players to practice and enjoy, yet they played very hard and put in their best. The first half, we attacked and scored continuously. At the point of switching, we lead them 5 points (11:6). At the second half, Hall 11 players somehow was able to breach our defense and scored some points. Then both sides took turns to score and made a tie of 20:20 and 21:21. Finally, Hall 11 failed in their turn of serving and we scored another point to win the game (23:21).
