Hall6 vs Hall7
4 : 1

Squash - Quarterfinals - Hall 6 vs Hall 7 ( 4 - 1 Hall 6 wins!)

With an initial scare from Ding Yong who lost the first match against his opponent, the team swooped the rest of the games to finish up at 4 - 1. The lineup has not changed since last time, and the team's pre-match pep-talk was quickly summed up. Not much was known about the opponents we were facing tonight, but the message was clear: Bulldoze them over.

1st match - Ding Yong
It was a very different gameplay tonight; the pace of the first set was extremely slow compared to the previous game where he played against Hall 14 for the qualifiers. Mustering a comeback to claim the second set, I must say that as many nice placed shots both players made, there were as many
faults. Game to Hall 7.

2nd match - Ling Han
Matched against a player of IVP status, Ling Han maintained calmness and poise to secure the first two sets comfortably.

It is evident Hall 7 had expected to claim a point for this match, as their lineup for tonight unfolds. Trumping their trump card, Ling Han claimed the first game for Hall 6, not only tieing it at 1 - 1, but also shut out Hall 7's dream of entering this year's semis.

3rd match - Kasster
Supporters who went to the washroom at the SRC and back wouldn't have even realised that the game was over. Another instance which showed that badminton and squash are two very different games. Slaughtered. 2 - 1.

4th match - Ling An
Secured the third point and Semi-finals placings.

5th match - Raj

Mistakes galore. Both players were either unusually nervous, or unusually reckless. The opponent fielded was better than the one in from the 3rd match, which suggested that Hall 7 had expected to have the 5th match as the decider. It was a close fight, not in the points however. Raj collects 2 sets first to end tonight at 4:1.
