Hall6 vs Hall14
4 : 1
Hall 6 vs Hall 14 : 4-1, Hall 6 Wins
The 2-hour Winner-Loser pool match today at the SRC Squash courts saw the Squash Team bagging a spot in the Quarterfinals.
Having Ling Han and Ling An back with us will certainly turn up the heat for our competitors, allowing the team to set their sights on the trophy again this year. The sisters outclassed their opponents today, both walking out of the court securing a point each.
First match: Ding Yong
You had got to be there to fully comprehend the proceedings; words can only illustrate so much of the drama on both sides of the glass wall. Initially down by the first set, Ding Yong managed to make a comeback, under much pressure I would say, to secure the 2nd and 3rd set, securing the opening point of the day.
Second match: Ling An
A smooth sailing and simple game without any hiccups. Secured the second point.
Third match: Kasster
Both players proved to be evenly matched, playing tight shots to the back and around the court.
Hall 14 gained its first point; the scoreline is now 2 - 1.
Fourth match: Ling Han
Another point in the bag, securing today's win, and a spot for Hall 6 in the quarterfinals.
Fifth match: Raj
The tempo of the rallies were somewhat slower, with shorter rallies as much shots were played to the front. The sets ended quickly with Raj securing the 2 sets to bag another point, ending today's campaign at 4 - 1.

Hall6 vs Hall10
Hall 6 vs. Hall 10 (1 – 0)
In the first half, Hall 6 players didn’t adapt to the match quickly and seemed to be a little nervous. However, we still controlled much of the match because Hall 10 arranged most of the players to defend and were not keen to organize attack. Our attacking is not very effective since the two sides could not support high quality crossings. Meanwhile, our strikers also missed several chances created in the free kicks.
In the half time rest, Hall 6 coach asked the players to control the ball and shifted it more than 6 times in order to find chance to score. And player changes are also made in the half time.
In the second half, our attacks were much better. There were more good crossings from the two sides. Around 60 minutes, we got a direct free kick in the best position. Our captain got the chance and scored this important goal. After that we were also awarded a penalty but miss this chance.
In sum, we dominated the whole match and Hall 10 got almost no shooting chance. A deserved victory!
