In preparation to Inter Hall Games, Hall 6 players trained hard and we won 5 out of 7 games in total, advances to Quarter Final, but was short of 1 point (count in term of board won) to proceed to the semis.  The halls were divided into 2 different groups and the top 2 teams from each group advances to the semis to fight it out for the medal. As it was my first time playing competitively, there is a certain degree of pressure that i was under when playing against the different halls. But with the support from one another, the pressure eases off pretty quickly and i was able to put my best.

We as a team really put in our best and played well but lady luck was not on our side this year, several games could be won  but the line-up for those games was in favor to the opposite hall. However i really enjoyed the experience that i gained from this and, i believe next year we will come back even stronger as a team. And for the rest of the games JIAYOU and do your best SIXIAN!!

We had a pretty strong team this year, and a high chance of entering semis. In our group of eight halls, the fight was mainly between us and hall 2 to enter semis alongside hall 11. Hall 6 was performing well till an unexpected unlucky line-up against hall 1 and we lost to them narrowly 2-3. It was a shock to many, but our team continued fighting hard. We won hall 2 eventually, which led to halls 1, 2 and 6 having lost to two halls each. In this case, the total board count was taken into consideration. It turned out that hall 6 and hall 1 tied on total board count, but since we lost to them head on, hall 1 proceeded to semis leaving us behind in the quarters. Nonetheless, it was a good fight by our team! Special thanks to our squatter Teck Wei for providing us last-minute special training and for winning all 7 boards! J
