Sepak Takraw Preliminary

Hall6 vs Hall15
3 : 0

This is a great victory over hall 15. (3:0) (Thanks to our players for playing in the rain)

First round 21:11

At the beginning of the match, the wind was strong and to make it worse, it started to rain. The outdoor court became wet and a little bit slippery. Despite the weather constraint, our players played carefully and wisely, we scored first and at the time we changed sides, the score is 11:04. In the second half, our opponents defeated back and scored several points, however, our player kicked back a very tough ball which won the cheering of our supporters and lightened our morale.

Second round 21:03

Not much difficulty for this round, our opponents failed to kick back the ball served by our player many times, we were ahead 8:0 and when we changed sides, the score is 11:01. Unsurprisingly, we finally won the round at 21:03.

Third round 21:10

Despite the victory, we continued with the third game, which we took down the opponent as well to score the final point to end the prelim with 3:0.

Squash Preliminary

Hall6 vs Hall12
2 : 3

Squash Ball: Hall 6 vs Hall 12

1st round (male):

The two players were well-matched in their strengths. The audiences were excited by their swift movement and excellent saves. However, it seemed that luck weighed more on our opponents’ side so that we lost the two games with a score of 9:10 and 8:10.

2nd round (female):

The opponent played many tricks when passing the ball, making trouble for our squash girl to retrieve the ball. However, her strong serves and good defense stopped the opponent’s aggressive attacks and won this round with a score of 7:9, 9:7 and 9:4.

3rd round (male):

This round went smoothly with a very apparent dominant position for the sixian’s player. His swift movement helped in saving the ball after our opponent’s attacks. Finally we have a score of 9:1 and 9:0.

4th round (female):

The opponent set up a very strong attack and solid defense, which seemed to more than our player could take. As a result, we lost the round with two 0:9s.

5th round (male):

This round could be the most exciting and fierce one in the whole match. Both boys played very well with excellent skills. Our opponent’s several aggressive attacks always worked very well and extended the lead very much. However, this did not seem to take our sixian’s boy a peg. He could always catch up with his swift running and successful saves.

In the last minute, we had a score of 7:8, with 1 point fell behind. Both boys fought aggressively for this point. However, he did his best but couldn’t save the ball at last. What a pity! Finally we have a score of 7:9, 9:7 and 7:9.

Although we lost the match with a final score of 2:3, our sixian’s players all did their best and brought us a very exciting game.
