Badminton

Hall 6 vs. Hall 10 (1 – 4, Hall 10 wins)

The game was wonderful and cruel.

Male double (2:1, hall 6 wins)

Ever since the beginning the score stayed close that both sides stand a chance to win. 1st round, our players created an excellent “quick kill” with their cooperation. They continued with the morale and won hall 10 @ 21:17. 2nd round, hall 10 attacked back and both sides scored in turn. The score continued to be very close; however, we lost several points in the end to and lose to hall 10 @ 17:21. 3rd round, we were lagged behind at the start; but with the help of our captain, our players stay calm and release their stress; at last, we won this round @ 21:18.

Mixed double (2:0, hall 10 wins)

Mixed double seems funny because the guys are very strong while the girls are just like “foil”. Especially for hall 10, the guy once served the shuttlecock to the racket of the girl, which made all the people present laugh for a while. We were fallen behind most of the time, yet we made a tie at 20:20 21:21 and 22:22. It’s a pity that we lose to hall 10 @ 22:24. 2nd round the score was close, our girl made an excellent smash of the shuttlecock over the net. Despite our effort, we finally lost the match @ 18:21.

Female Double (2:0, hall 10 wins)

Our female players played very hard. We were ahead at the beginning (4:1). However, hall 10 never gave up and attacked back. The score was close and changed from seven draw until 18 draw. It’s unlucky that we lose to hall 10 @ 18:21. 2nd round, our players started to attack their weakest point and dead corner, yet we did not make it to save the desperate situation, we lose again @ 11:21.

Male Single (2:0, hall 10 wins)

This becomes our last hope. 1st round, our player played well and the score was close until 9:9. After that, our opponent flared up and scored crazily to win the match @ 21:12. Maybe there are too much stress and burden, our player cannot concentrate and lose the 2nd round @ 7:21.

Although we lose the match, our badminton players tried their best and play very hard. Cheers, hall 6. We still stand a chance to be on the top.

Volleyball (Male)

Hall 6 vs. Hall 16 (2 – 1)

Match 1 (25:21)

Hall 6 played aggressively from the start, giving them a very strong lead, with a score of 9:1. Hall 16 then called a timeout, to re-strategize their game. They then put up a strong defense, narrowing the gap aggressively. However Hall 6 players did not let us down. They counter-attacked and eventually won the first set with a score of 25:21.

Match 2 (20:25)

In this round, Hall 16 started very strong. Their aggressive play gave them a lead, with a score of (1:5). However Hall 6 played just as hard and eventually narrowed the gap. It was a close and intense fight between the two halls. Several good set-ups allowed hall 6 to catch up, narrowing the gap such that hall 16 only had a one point lead (19:20). However Hall 16 stood up to the challenge and they won this match eventually.

Match 3 (25:15)

Hall 6 started with a very aggressive stance, leading the game throughout. The players kept up with their attacks, making this set short and sweet for hall 6. Before long, this set was over, with a score of 25:15.

Hall 6 Volleyballers did a great job! Kudos to them!
