Interview with Darts Captains, Shiling, Zach, Yunjie:

Q. How different is the darts team this year compared to that of last year's and how has that added challenges/ interesting elements in training/ team dynamics?

We have welcomed almost half a team of players who are new to darts this year, and even though they are new, they possess an immense amount of passion and enthusiasm for the game. Our initial challenge was to ensure that they pick up the skills for the game as quickly as possible, yet not compromising on the enjoyment of the game. The task was made simpler by having multiple captains who were equally dedicated to the team. Having a mix of juniors and seniors meant that there was a lot to learn from each other, which proved valuable.
Q. How is the IHG experience for the darts team?
As the team did not achieve the target which was set earlier, we were slightly disappointed with ourselves for not performing to our expectations. However, the juniors have gained much relevant experiences from this IHRG that can only serve to improve their performance in the following years.
Q. Anything you want to say to your team members as captains of the team?
To dear darters, we cannot be any prouder than what we, as captains, already are. We appreciate your dedication to the team and the effort all of you have put in. We're glad that you guys have enjoyed every moment (and the free pizza) of this whole IHRG season (if you don't, next year dont come back :P , kidding la!) We hope that this spirit of darts team can be passed on to the next incoming batch and together, we will strive for a better IHRG in 2012/2013! ((((:
